Why Dummy Products Are Being Ordered (and How to Prevent It)

In some cases when the bundle products do not show in the order this can be due to the customer adding the Dummy Product to the cart.

To avoid customers adding teh Dummy Product to the cart there are a few things to check:


Bundle Page Redirect.

Has the Bundle Page Redirect option been enabled. To check this you can navigate to the App Embeds section in your theme editor and toggle the Bundle Page Redirect option On.


If the Bundle Page Redirect option is not enabled the customers may be directed to the Dummy Product Page instead of the Bundle Page where the Dummy product is added to the cart.


Search & Collection Pages.

Are the Quick Shop buttons enabled in your search or collection pages? Adding a bundle to the cart via Quick Shop can result inthe customers adding the Dummy Product to the cart and not being redirected to the bundle page to make their selections. We recommend disabling Quick Shop on bundle products to prevent any confusion.


Customers must be redirected to the bundle page to complete their product selections and customize their bundle before adding it to the cart.
